is there a reason why the digital codes are placed in the middle of the issue instead of at the end? it's harder to take the sticker off without damaging the issue now.
Comics are printed in what are known as signatures–essentially single large pieces of paper that are folded over repeatedly to make sections of 16 or 8 pages. Because of the way the machines are tooled that affix the digital code stickers, they can only be placed at the end of a signature. The end of the outer signature is the back cover, and that’s too prone to abuse or theft, so we place it at the end of the next available signature in the book, typically on Page 24.
